Camps will be held throughout the year including fall, winter, spring and summer. Camps are open to children ages five and up from 9am to 2pm rain or shine! Zero horse experience is necessary for campers to participate! Campers are welcomed to attend daily or weekly Monday through Thursday (Winter and Summer camp). Campers are asked to wear long pants and boots with a heel that covers the riders ankle. Helmets are provided if needed. Campers must pack lunch.

All camps are $300 per week of camp (Monday – Thursday) or $75 per day of camp unless noted otherwise below.

Tentative Dates:

Camp includes daily riding lesson, horsemanship & stable management lesson, craft, and fun games. Concluding the week camp, Thursday is our “Horse Show” day where family members are welcome to watch what their children have learned throughout the week and enjoy a pizza party.

We can even host parties year-round  with our indoor and outdoor facilities. This locations supplies tables, chairs, venue, bathrooms on site, beautiful scenery and of course ponies. You are welcomed to decorate the facility to correlate with the party theme. Our birthday party can be customized to accommodate your group or activities to ensure the best time possible.

Don’t Forget: We encourage you to bring treats for birthday party participants. Just remember that horses love treats too! Carrots and apples are always a hit.

We invite your troop to visit our barn to learn and experience the world of horses! The badge requirements are covered with hands-on experience alongside our well trained, gentle horses for the experienced Scout or for the first timer! Seahorse Equestrian, LLC asks that all troops to provide our staff with your complete requirements for the badge being achieved.

During their sessions the troops will be able to learn the staples; leading, grooming, tack -up/ un-tack, parts of tack, parts of equines, balance, and control of the equine undersaddle. Teamwork and skill building is our goal while creating great memories. Riders are asked to wear long pants, hard sole shoe with a heel and horseback riding helmets are provided.

In addition to hands on activities, scouts are invited to create a keepscape craft as a souvenir. Troops are welcomed to bring snacks for the scouts plus carrots and apples for the equines.

Scout days are ran by appointment only. $30 a scout (2 Hour session).

Throughout the year Seahorse Equestrian, LLC will host special events at the Dreampark for our local community. Our events themes are dependent on the times of the year. Pony rides, craft tables, games, prizes, refreshments and more will be available.

Admission is $10 per child 12-4 years old, $5 for additional pony ride.

Currently Seahorse Equestrian, LLC’s head trainer is the Leader of an Equine 4H club within Gloucester County. We feel 4H is a wonderful way for youth to learn skills that will lead into a successful life. 4 H youth learn many skills within their project area in conjunction with responsibility, sportsmanship, confidence, and ways to conduct themselves as young adults.

Children affiliated with Seahorse Equestrian, LLC will be encouraged to join 4H.  As a 4H member the youth is required to attend 70% of the monthly meetings (second sunday of each month), public presentations, participate within our club’s volunteer days, community services, and fundraisers. Seahorse Equestrian, LLC is associated with Gloucester Country Equine project area. Members do not need to own an equine or even have any horse experience. As a club, we educate the youth within our project area.

IEA/ISHA:

The Gloucester County DreamPark hosts Interscholastic Equestrian Association (High school/ Middle School riding team) and Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (College riding team). Seahorse Equestrian, LLC currently has students participating in both areas. As a support system, Seahorse Equestrian, LLC will encourage their students to volunteer at these events. Seahorse Equestrian, LLC’s head trainer was previously an IEA coach and will would encourage participating. These associations allow for riders to excel riding career and open up academic doors including scholarships.

• How to prep your horse for a horse show (Braiding/ Banding, Clipping, Bathing, ect.)
• Hunter Jumper clinic
• Equine Health
• 4H riding clinic
• And many more
